MRI and CT scans are charged per body part therefore a consultation is required to identify the best options.

This helps ensure minimal cost while weighing up the disadvantages, such as unnecessary exposure to radiation. This consultation also enables you to discuss alternative options/treatments available and avoid a scan if it will not change the management of your illness.

Corns are areas of thickened skin that develop on the feet because of constant pressure or friction. They can typically occur on the toes, ball of the foot, or heel, and can be painful and uncomfortable. For successful removal, our clinician will need to apply local anaesthetic and surgically cut away the corn. This will leave a dimple in the tissue of the foot but, in time, this will heal as the body naturally fills it with healthy tissue.

An ingrown toenail occurs when the nail grows into the toe (typically the big toe) and it can be very painful.

For successful removal, our clinician will need to apply local anaesthetic and surgically cut away the edges of the toenail. This will make it narrower and give it a straight edge.

Ear Wax Removal Microsuction Services with Ergisa

Microsuction is the process of removing wax from your ears by using a small suction tube and probe to gently remove any excess wax in the ear. There are some ear-related conditions that can result in you not being able to have microsuction performed. This includes suffering from regular ear infections or having a perforated ear drum.

Ergisa our clinician will outline any risks to having the procedure performed before checking that you are happy to proceed. The clinician will then have a look in your ears using an otoscope, which is a magnification tool with a light on it. This allows us to ensure the wax in your ears is soft enough to be removed using micro-suction. If the wax is soft, the clinician will gently insert the suction tube and probe into your ear to remove the wax.
