A single allergen
An allergy blood test measures the IgE antibodies your body makes against a particular substance. We can test for a single allergen you already suspect, for a profile of the common foods, grasses and animals, or for up to 300 allergens at once with the ALEX test, all from one blood sample taken in the clinic.
The same visit can look at your vitamin levels or screen for coeliac disease and gluten sensitivity. Results take two to five days depending on the test and are emailed to you as a report; one of our GPs calls you if anything in it is flagged.

A blood sample in the clinic. For the coeliac screen, keep eating gluten as usual beforehand.

The report is emailed to you in two to five days, depending on the test, and a GP calls you if anything is flagged.
