Weeks of pregnancy for NIPT

Blood tells a lot about fertility and hormones. A pregnancy blood test is £60, a female or male hormone profile £160, a menopause profile £140, and the checks for polycystic ovary syndrome start at £170. For a pregnancy from 10 weeks there is the non-invasive prenatal test, NIPT, at £370.

Each profile is one blood sample taken in the clinic, and most results come back in a day. Where a result raises a question, our GPs and our consultant gynaecologist, Miss Shahnaz Akbar, work in the same building, so the next step can be taken here.
